Use Solar Energy and Wind Power to Create Electricity to Power Your Home or Business
The indisputable fact about wind power generators and residential solar power is that they both harness natural resources that we have in abundance - the sun and wind. Alternative energy resources can now be used to generate electricity to power our homes, offices, computers, TVs, appliances, hot water heaters and just about any other entity that can be powered by electricity.

Not only are these green energy resources available to us in abundance, but modern technology has made it easier than ever to access. Constructing wind power generators such as a home made wind mill, and creating solar electricity through solar power panels, is actually something the homeowner can do on their own… for less than $200.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Solar Power
The advantages of harnessing solar power far outweigh the disadvantages.
Advantages include:
- Solar Energy is a Renewable Resource
- Solar Energy Does Not Pollute
- Solar Cells Operate in Complete Silence
- Solar Power is Free
- Solar Electricity Can Be Stored for Later Use
- Solar Panels Require Little if Any Maintenance
- Electricity Generated Can Be Sold to Power Companies
Disadvantages include:
- Solar Panels Can Be Expensive
- Solar Power Cannot Be Generated at Night
- Solar Cells Collect Little if Any Energy Through Thick Cloud Cover
As you can see from the pros and cons of solar energy the advantages of harnessing solar power as an alternative energy source far outweigh the disadvantages. The cost of setting up solar power systems is quickly recouped, and over time home solar power will pay for itself many times over.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Wind Energy
Again the advantages of using home wind power far outstrip the disadvantages.
Advantages include:
- Wind Power Generation is a Renewable Resource

- Wind Power Generators Produce No Waste or Pollution
- Residential Wind Turbines are Cheap and Easy to Buy and/or Build
- Little if Any Cost to Operate
- Virtually No Maintenance Required
Disadvantages include:
- Wind and Weather are Unpredictable
- Some People Object to the Appearance of a Home Made Wind Mill
Once again the pluses far outweigh the minuses when it comes to wind power as an alternative energy. Residential wind turbines will become more and more prevalent as the world frees itself from the slimy grip of fossil fuels. Free electricity that doesn’t pollute… that’s hard to beat.
It’s Easier Than Ever to Take Advantage of Green Energy Sources

Building your own power plant is now within anyone’s reach. Alternative energy sources like the sun and wind will be a major source of eco-friendly power for the entire planet. It’s great for the environment and is an affordable alternative energy resource. There are quite a few publications available that show how wind and solar power works, how to build your own power generators and how to store the energy you harvest in simple batteries.
We encourage you to look into home energy systems. In addition to the money you will save on electricity you will also benefit from the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your carbon footprint is becoming increasingly smaller. Green energy in the form of wind and solar power generators are an outstanding way for us all to improve ourselves and this blue rock we call home… planet Earth.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for creating this easy-to-read, clean and inviting site.
It looks like solarwindenergys.com could become a “go to” site for home owners and/or small business owners seeking impartial advise on what kind of solar power units they should install (for example).
My suggestion would be to move the content towards a specific sector…..and provide insightful information/review on alternative solar power solutions. installation issues, ROI, tax incentives and other key criteria.
I would then reach across the world to carefully examine which programs and products are actually working as advertised.
Finally, I would analyze solar power companies and provide commentary on solar investments.
Thank you and best wishes,
HAL
